介紹英文歌，對我來說就不能少了這一位
一次在台大宿舍時，聽到對面開南大學傳來音樂聲
當時播放的就是 LeAnn Rimes的"I need you"
悅耳的旋律讓人意猶未盡
乍聽下很似席琳狄翁的嗓音
然依稀記得她早已因懷孕暫別歌壇，沒有新作
眷戀著好聲音，想回寢室問身為音樂高手的室友
才發現自己既不知歌名，也不會哼曲調，只有含恨
過段時間，偶然又在7-11的廣播聽及 "I need you"
刻意在小七久待，只為了知道歌名或歌手是誰
偏偏廣播直接進了廣告，節目重啟時也未提及
又是一次殘念
又過陣子，在唱片行享受試聽冷門唱片樂趣時
再次意外聽到了 "I need you"
這次專輯就擺在眼前，想錯過也難
將全張專輯聽過後，決定心滿意足地買回家
後來才得知 LeAnn Rimes 是位鄉村唱手發跡
當時在台灣知名度不算高
直到女狼俱樂部裡的 Can't Fight The Moonlight
以及空中監獄中的 How do I live
這兩首歌開始紅遍大街小巷後
唱片公司才開始回頭出版她的專輯
甚至連她之前鄉村歌手的作品都登上台面
但在陸續熱銷幾張後，她的唱片似乎沒落了下來
她的前期作品我也都忠實地買了
然而後期就沒什麼讓人印象深刻的曲子
前陣子聽廣播，據說她又準備復出發片
心裡著實些許期待
如果能再次出現動人心絃的好作品，定是聽眾的幸福
跟大家分享這個難得的好聲音
